Welcome to my Series "Our Legacy to the Ocean"

The artist has used highly decorative multi-media techniques to convey a environmental impact message of how we as humans are risking the earth's oceans and bodies of water.  Over-fishing, creating oil slick disasters, dumping refuge and highly toxic medical garbage into our waters is now being recognized by governments around the world and we are in a race for time to right the wrongs of the past.  We must try very hard to establish a balance of what we take from the oceans to sustainability of the life that dwells there.

The artist has used the idea of mermaids to put a human face to the plight of the marine life that could be endangered through our own disasters and thoughtlessness.
